Simple Tips To Build A Successful Website!!

 

If you are thinking about starting your own website, but are under the impression that the work is simply too complicated or expensive, don't worry.  Been there, done that!!

I started my own retail website back in 2000 and didn't know anything about websites and how they work.  As a result, I ended up spending thousands of dollars on companies and products.  After being disappointed again and again, I decided to teach myself how to create and optimize websites and the results have been phenomenal.  The success of my own and other websites has allowed me to create my manual Easywebsite101, which is designed specifically for beginners and small business owners.

Unlike the so-called "Experts", who are often nothing more than thieves and liars, I use a straight-forward approach and use my own and other websites as examples and references.  I don't just tell you what to do, I actually show you what I have done, why it is needed, and which buttons to press on your keyboard and mouse.

 How to build a website!!

• You do NOT need to be a computer geek or know computer programming.
  Fact:  Unlike many years ago when you needed to be a certified computer geek, nowadays anybody can create a website and the cost is truly very low.  Most of my friends have never created a website prior to meeting me and once they saw how easy it is, they have often created several other since.
   

• Websites do not cost a lot of money.
  Fact:  Depending on your needs, a typically website can cost as little as $5 and as much as $50 per month.  The key is whether you need a shopping cart or not.  As I explain in my manual, I spend an average of $5 to $8 per month for each of my sites and the ones that have a shopping cart cost me about $30.
   

• Don't waste money on fancy softwares.
  Fact:  In order to create your website, you will need to have a program that allows you to create webpages.  One of the most common programs is Microsoft FrontPage, which is very easy to use and is also fairly cheap.  In my manual, I use the 2003 edition and even though there are newer webpage editors out there, I have found it to be very user friendly and cheap.  I recommend you purchase a licensed version through websites like eBay or Amazon, and you can probably get one for about $50.
   

• Don't waste your money paying someone else to create your website.
  Fact:  There are thousands of internet companies, web masters and designers, who are more than happy to take your money.  Don't!!!  Even if you have never created a website before, know this:
  I have helped many others create and optimize websites and doing it yourself does work!!  You can not only have a great looking website, but just as importantly, a great ranking website and all it takes is a few hours of work.  Following the instructions in my manual Easywebsite101, you can have a well designed website in a matter of a few working hours.  Once you see how easy it is to create the main pages, you can add more pages and increase your presence in the search engines, just like I have done myself.
   

• What should you consider when you are thinking about creating your website.
  Fact:  You will obviously need to get a domain name and a company to host your website.  Both are fairly inexpensive and I for example use Godaddy.com for all of my websites.  In addition, you will also need a web design software, and again, I use FrontPage 2003, which you can get for around $50 or so.  That's pretty much all you need to get started.
  Depending on your needs, a shopping cart can cost about $160-200 to set it up and then about $20 per month.  Keep in mind that the merchant bank will charge you an additional commission every time a purchase a made.  My website Easywebsite101.com cost me about $30 per month, which includes my domain name, hosting account, shopping cart fees, and traffic monitoring software.  My other websites that don't have a shopping cart cost me an about $10 per month.
   

• Lots of additional tips.
