If you are thinking about starting your own website, but are under the impression that the work is simply too complicated or expensive, don't worry.  Been there, done that!!

In this section, I want to explain to you how easy it is to not only start your  website, but just as important, how to make sure that it is successful by utilizing all of the SEO tools so that your website ranks high in the search engines. The information here is taken from my manual Easywebsite101, which covers everything in much more detail and gives you step-by-step instructions on how to actually create and optimize your website for the search engines.

My friends and I have not only created our own websites with no prior experience, but have also optimized the websites for the search engines.  If we can get 1000's of hits per month in our websites for free and without any previous experience, so can you.

Web Design Tip #3:  You need to have a FTP
Finally, the last web design tool you will need to create your website is a software called FTP, which stands for "File Transfer Program".  The FTP is a software that allows you to connect your computer to your hosting account so that you can upload your files from your computer and vice versa.  FTP's are very easy to use and best all, most are readily available for free.  Simply search for FTP online and you will find hundreds of websites that offer them with no strings attached.

The FTP that I and many of my friends use is called AceFTP and it's also available for free.  I have found that this FTP not only works great, but it's an essential web design tool that is very easy to learn and it offers lots of added features that some of the other FTP's don't offer.
