You need to start with a domain name and
a hosting account
The first step in starting a website
involves getting your domain name and
hosting account, which are typically
offered by the same companies and is
very easy to do.
A domain name is simply the name the of
your website (mine is
easywebsite101.com) and you can choose
from a variety of endings, such as .com,
.net, .us, .org, etc. As a rule, I
always recommend that you consider a
.com that this is what most of us
instinctively associate with websites.
Besides the domain name, you also need
to get a hosting account and this is
also easily done. The more
important and often confusing decision
is what you will need and how much
should you spend, so let me use my own
example as a reference.
